Driving Directions

From Main St./Highway 203, continue straight to Minaret Rd. Turn right onto Minaret Rd. You will pass The Village on the left. Continue on Minaret Rd. toward Main Lodge for about four miles until you reach the Main Lodge parking lot area. Turn right at the Mammoth Mountain Inn sign near the Yodler Restaurant.

Mammoth Mountain Inn Shuttle (Not available until July 2, 2021)

We offer complimentary shuttle service for MMI guests subject to demand and availability. The MMI shuttle makes regular trips to the Village. Generally every 30 minutes. Check with the Front Desk for departure times. Shuttle service is subject to occupancy, demand, weather, and road conditions. During low occupancy periods, shuttle service may be reduced.

Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (Year-Round)

Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) offers free transportation around Mammoth Lakes with bus service to nearly every popular spot in town. Complimentary maps and schedules are available at the Front Desk. Find the main transportation hub at The Village, where you can access all bus lines via stop #90 on Canyon Blvd or the Red or Pink Line at stop #18 on Minaret Rd/HWY 203.

Evening Hospitality Shuttle (Winter)

When available, our Hospitality Shuttle offers on-demand service to requested locations throughout town, and includes stops at our hotel properties and Vons grocery store. Call the Front Desk to inquire about service.

Village Gondola (Winter)

The Village Gondola is the easiest way to access the mountain from town. The ride is complimentary from The Village up to Canyon Lodge, and non-skiers can get out to enjoy the views of the slopes and the high-altitude atmosphere.

Bike Park Shuttle (Summer)

The Bike Park Shuttle (with bike rack) runs from The Village to the Adventure Center at Main Lodge. A valid Mammoth Bike Park ticket is required to transport a bicycle, otherwise the shuttle is free to ride.

Service to Yosemite National Park (Summer)

The Yosemite Area Regional Transit System (YARTS) offers round-trip bus transportation to Yosemite National Park from Mammoth Lakes, with multiple pickup spots and stops within the park. Schedule and fees vary. Visit Yarts.com for more information.

Reservations are required to drive your personal car into Yosemite through September 30, 2021. Some services and facilities are limited, and shuttles are not operating.

Reds Meadow / Devils Postpile Shuttle (Summer)

Reds Meadow, Devils Postpile and Rainbow Falls are not scheduled to open until mid-June or later.

To access all the sights in the Reds Meadow area, all visitors must ride a designated shuttle that operates mid-June through mid-September. Personal vehicles are not permitted unless the shuttle is not operating, and an entrance fee must be paid at the Minaret Vista ranger kiosk. Shuttle tickets are available for purchase at the window outside the Adventure Center, or by paying the driver directly when boarding the bus.
